Forest Whales is a traveling, hands-on STEM program featuring a life-size, 56-foot inflatable whale that students can walk inside. We bring real whale bones, fossils, and interactive exhibits right to your gymnasium or library.
A standard school gym or large library/community space is perfect. The whale measures about 56 feet long, 25 feet wide, and 9.5 feet tall.
Forest Whales is ideal for K–8 students, but we tailor content to meet the age group. High school students and adults also enjoy the experience.
For schools, Forest Whales programs are designed to be a full-day event, starting with a full-school assembly and then breaking out into small groups throughout the day. For libraries, summer camps, festivals, and community events, we plan for 5-hour programs.
